Part 6 – Transistor Switching

In part 6 we learned about the device that helped users in the computer age, the transistor.


We very quickly began updating our circuit to include the use of a transistor to power the LED on our circuit board. The more we learn, the more components we need, all to light the same LED!
Using the provided diagram we wired up a circuit like this…
Eventually we got the circuit working and were able to use the transistor to light up the LED with the switch.
Now, we took our working circuit and began testing how the small transistor multiplied the voltage.
Part 6 complete!
